James Tedesco's journey in rugby league is marked by resilience, excellence, and leadership. He made his debut for the Wests Tigers in 2012 but faced an early setback with a torn ACL on debut, demonstrating his determination to overcome adversity. In 2016, he debuted for the NSW Blues, showcasing his talent on the state level.

In 2018, Tedesco embarked on a new chapter by joining the Sydney Roosters, where he played his 100th NRL game and secured NRL premierships in the same year. His stellar performances earned him a debut for the Australian Kangaroos and set the stage for back-to-back NRL premiership victories in 2019.

Tedesco's influence continued to grow as he was named captain for NSW in 2020, followed by captaining the Sydney Roosters in 2021. In 2022, he reached a milestone by playing his 200th NRL game and was honoured with the captaincy for the Australian Kangaroos. The following year, Tedesco's durability and commitment were highlighted as he played the most consecutive games for NSW Blues, an impressive streak of 22 matches.
