At just 18 years old, he made the bold decision to relocate to the Sunshine Coast, where he dedicated himself to rigorous training with one of the top Surf Club Ironman squads in the country.
After three years of relentless hard work, Matt's efforts finally paid off when he broke into the prestigious Nutri Grain Ironman Series, marking a significant milestone in his career. Since then, he has consistently demonstrated his prowess and athleticism on the international stage, solidifying his position as a formidable force in the sport.
Now residing on the Gold Coast, Matt continues to push the boundaries of his sport, competing at the highest level and serving as an inspiration to aspiring athletes worldwide.
