Maddi Levi is a prominent figure in Australian rugby, known for her remarkable speed and agility as a winger in the rugby sevens arena. Representing Australia in international competitions, Levi has garnered attention for her exceptional performance on the field, setting records for the most tries in a season and earning the title of Rugby 7’s Player of the Year.
Before making waves in rugby, Levi began her athletic journey in AFLW in 2021, where she quickly made an impact, finishing in the top 10 for the Suns AFLW Club Champion rankings. Her impressive speed was further highlighted when she broke the NAB AFLW Draft Combine record for the 20m sprint.
Transitioning to rugby sevens in 2021, Levi's career skyrocketed as she represented Australia in the Tokyo Olympic Games. The following year proved to be monumental as Levi was part of the Australian Rugby 7s Team that clinched victory in the HSBC World Series, Commonwealth Games, and Rugby 7s World Cup. Her stellar performance earned her a place in various Dream Teams and accolades such as Rookie of the Year.
Off the field, Levi is committed to making a positive impact as an ambassador for Dolly’s Dream, aiming to reduce bullying among young people. She has also been recognised as an ambassador for BSc and Asics, further solidifying her influence both on and off the field.
