Here at BSc, we are committed to producing premium quality sports nutrition to fuel performance and power greatness.
As you are probably aware, the price of many food ingredients has significantly increased in recent years, for us, ingredient prices alone have risen between 8%- 17%! Add to this the increasing costs in manufacturing and shipping, and you can see that the cost of producing the BSc Protein Bars you have long-loved, has seen a pretty big jump.
Over the past 2 years, we have absorbed additional costs wherever we can and looked at ways to optimise our bars, so they continue to deliver on taste, quality, macros and value for money.
However, we have reached a point where we had to make a call
Reduce the size or quality of our bars or implement a modest price increase. If you know us, you know that reducing the size or quality of our bars was out of the question. We know you depend on us for a delicious, high-quality protein hit!
While we are aware that some protein bars in the Sports Nutrition category are only delivering about 10g of protein per bar, for us, nearly halving the grams of protein per bar wasn’t an option.
We are committed to Powering Greatness through quality, Australian-made Performance Sports Nutrition and we look forward to continuing to Train, Play and Recover with you in 2025. The price change will come into effect from 12/2/25.
