So, a whole day has been dedicated to pancakes. National pancake day! Definitely something we're getting behind. In true BSC style, we’re celebrating with a delicious stack of protein pancakes, drowned in clean coffee syrup. Yes, you heard that right. Let’s not wait any longer!
Protein Pancakes with Clean Coffee Syrup
Serves 1 Time 20 Minutes
CLEAN COFFEE INFUSED SYRUP
Ingredients
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
2 sachets Clean Coffee TX100
Splash of water
Method
1. Place maple syrup, clean coffee and water in a small saucepot.
2. Bring to a simmer and boil gently for about 5 minutes.
3. Remove syrup from heat and let it cool.
PROTEIN PANCAKES
Ingredients
3/4 cup buckwheat flour (approx. 120g)
1/4 scoop Clean Vegan Protein Chocolate Caramel
1 cup almond milk (approx. 250ml)
1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar
1 tsp baking powder
Salt to taste
Method
1. Add flour, baking powder, protein powder, baking soda and salt into a bowl. Whisk well.
2. Pour in almond milk and whisk well until a smooth batter has formed.
3. Use a 1/4 cup to make medium-sized pancakes. Cook until bubbles form and flip. Repeat with rest of the batter.
4. Plate up and top with berries, granola and drizzle with a generous serve of homemade Clean Coffee syrup!
