VANILLA MAPLE COLLAGEN SCROLLS

VANILLA MAPLE COLLAGEN SCROLLS

Serves 6 Scrolls Time 25 Minutes

Ingredients

Scrolls

3 tablespoons vegan butter

1 cup almond milk

1 packet instant yeast

1 tablespoon brown sugar

Pinch of salt

2 ½ cups self-raising flour (plus more for dusting)

Filling

1/4 cup vegan butter

¼ cup brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

Icing

1/3 cup icing sugar

1 scoop Bodyscience Advanced Athletic Beauty Collagen Ultra

2 tbsp nondairy milk

Method

1. Warm butter and almond milk until warm, stir in the brown sugar and salt and add in the yeast. Allow to sit for 20 - 30 minutes

2. Stir in ½ cup of flour at a time until a dough forms

3. Transfer onto lightly dusted surface and kneed until a dough ball forms

4. Spray bowl and place dough in there to rest. Cover with a tea towel and allow to rest for an hour

5. Pre heat oven to 180C and grease a baking tray

Meanwhile, make the filling by melting the butter and spread together

6. When dough is ready, roll out into a thick rectangle, brush the melted filling over the dough and sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon mix

7. Lightly roll the dough into a cigar shape and cut into 6 even portions

8. Bake in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes until golden brown

9. Prepare the icing into a smooth mixture and then drizzle ontop. Enjoy!
